I am extremely disappointed with the lack of communication and consideration from this office, especially when it involves the care of a child with autism. My child’s doctor at this practice took over prescribing a medication that was originally prescribed by his neurologist to help him sleep. When I contacted the office for a refill, I was suddenly told that my child needs a medication-check appointment before they will refill it. What makes this completely unacceptable is that I have brought this same child into this office THREE TIMES in the past FOUR WEEKS. Not once during any of those visits did anyone tell me that a medication-check appointment was needed. Nobody mentioned that his prescription would not be refilled without another appointment. Nobody gave me any warning whatsoever. Now we are approaching the weekend, my child needs his medication, and suddenly I am being told there is another requirement before they will refill it. Had anyone in this office communicated this during any one of the THREE recent appointments, I would have scheduled whatever appointment was necessary. This is not a minor inconvenience. My daughter was seen in the office today and I gotta tell you the ease of comfort just seeing her Pediatrician was nothing stressful. I was greeted by the staff and escort to a room less than 7 minutes. Dr Margaret Woods is an exceptional Pediatrician in my daughter's care and throughout the capital region. I highly recommend her as your child's Pediatrician.

After 9 years, they discharged us from their practice. I have 3 kids and because each child missed 1 appointment, they added them all together and let us go. I agree with all of the other reviews that they have the nerve to get upset if us as parents are late, but don't care if they leave us waiting in the waiting room or another room for 30 minutes. I also agree that the front receptionists are not welcoming and have attitudes. The final thing that I will say is that when calling and trying to get a same day sick appointment, they will tell you no, and to come the next day, but if you call again and tell them that it can't wait until the next day, all of a sudden they can see you. You really need to retrain your staff and be more understanding or parent friendly. The only doctor worth seeing there is Dr. Lewandowski.

Excellent care for almost 20 years for both of my children. Easy to schedule appointments, prompt responses from nurses, and very accommodating scheduling staff. I dread my children aging out of this practice.

as a first time parent, navigating medical care options for my little one felt overwhelming. I ultimately went with a practice I had gone to myself as a child, just at the Schenectady location opposed to Guilderland. each time we have a visit here, I’m validated in my decision. we have seen Dr. Margaret Woods, Breanne Lewandowski, and Dr. Norbert Woods, and they are all fantastic. I truly feel heard as a parent, and have the utmost faith and trust in the medical team here- their level of care is evident in each appointment and interactions. I highly recommend this practice, their providers, nurses, and administrative staff- everyone here is stellar, and so very appreciated by myself and my family!
